What is the
SDGs DESIGN COURSE

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) have become a globally shared concern, aiming to address various challenges faced by the world, including climate change, poverty, inequality, and ecological crises. Simultaneously, children's education is recognized as a crucial factor in achieving sustainable development because nurturing environmental awareness and action in the next generation is paramount. Therefore, we propose a project called 'SDGs Design Course: Museum of Endangered Species Architecture and Environmental Design,' which aims to impart knowledge of the SDGs to K12 children (grades 1 to 6) through hands-on participation and education, while also focusing on the conservation of endangered animals and ecosystems.

  1. Environmental Education Curriculum: Education is at the core of the program. We will provide engaging environmental education courses covering various aspects of the SDGs, particularly those related to the conservation of ecosystems and biodiversity. Children will gain an understanding of the interactive relationships within ecosystems and how their actions can contribute to sustainability.

  2. Outdoor Education: Children will have the opportunity to participate in outdoor education activities such as wildlife observation, tree planting, and litter cleanup. This will encourage their active involvement in environmental conservation efforts while fostering teamwork and leadership skills.

  3. Creative Thinking: Through creative thinking, children will gain a deeper insight into the challenges and survival strategies of endangered animal environments. They will engage in creative thinking about the conservation of endangered animals, plant care, and ecosystem maintenance, among other topics.

  4. Creative Sharing: Towards the end of the educational curriculum, children will be encouraged to showcase their ideas and share the knowledge and experiences they have gained throughout the process. This will inspire broader social engagement and awareness-raising among the children."
